[SOLVED] TS-5.2 wireless issues

Alex-6
This post was updated on .
I tried using the following parameters :

WIRELESS_ESSID="XXXX"
WIRELESS_MODE="managed"
WIRELESS_WPAKEY="XXXX"
WIRELESS_DRIVER="wext"

with the package autonet selected in build.con, with no success...

I've tried adding network-manager, who can connect, but manually. According to it the SSID is using WEP encryption

I've then tried to create a supplicant.conf file and addded to thinstation.conf.buildtime (after commenting the "WIRELESS_X") parameters :
CUSTOM_SUPPLICANT_CONF="etc/supplicant.conf"

But it still doesn't connect...

Any ideas ? Any log somewhere which could help about that ? Also I didn't see any init script for restarting wpa_supplicant...

If you're using WEP, I think you use WIRELESS_KEY instead as per wireless.conf.sample
wpa_supplicant is handled by packages/autonet/etc/udev/scripts/net.sh but you're not using WPA so supplicant is irrelevant.

Thanks, using WIRELESS_KEY worked.
