Thinstation Hardware issue--Audio

emuhuron
Okay, I created my Dell760 machine profile in the early stages of building my TS.  I'm deploying the image now.  My test pc has everything working perfectly.  I test deployed to a couple users.  NONE of them have audio.  I'm sending them the same image that I've been using.  It's possible that all 5 systems that I've put it on had their system boards replaced at one point.  Or, my test system has the newer system board.  If I create two machine profiles for the same pc model, will Thinstation know which one to grab when it boots up?  Can I just label the machine profiles Dell760_1 and Dell760_2?

Thanks Don. Now, something weird is going on.  When I run hwlister.sh on the machine with the issue...  It's reporting "tftp server error file not found."  Also, there's no "/lib/firmware" in my system.  I turned on all xorg7- packages even though I thought I was just using xorg7-intell and -vmware.  I still only have my one "machine Dell760".  Of course, package extensions and -x version are both turned on.  And, I turned on "param allfirmware".  Hwlister.sh still isn't working.  What other package/dependcy would I need for it?

I would just make a merged profile that had enough drivers to work in either system. Udev will work it out.
