Updating packages howto

Dave Botsch
Let's say there's a vulnerability (or even just a bugfix) in a package
such as... gstreamer.

How would I update gstreamer in thinstation?

Thanks.

In reply to this post by Dave Botsch
The binary's are built and managed using the Crux package management system. They are then massaged into a thinner form that the ts build script uses for assembling the final filesystems. The two sides are referred to as ports(crux) and packages(thinned) respectively.
