If you're using a preconfigured server, you can remove /etc/cmd/freerdp.getpass and then pass an option to disable NLA so that login will happen after you connect to the RDP server.
If you can't disable NLA because your server requires it, add empty file /etc/console/freerdp which will make freerdp run within a terminal so that additional prompts can be responded to, like password changes.
